Orange County Alumni join us for a talk on 'Faith-Based Principles for Pluralist Democracy' by Dr. Jesse Covington. Dr. Covington's research explores the interrelation of religion and government. He will take a look at enduring challenges Christians face in a context like the United States. This event will start at 6:00pm PST at Pacifica Christian High School, 1499 Monrovia Ave., Newport Beach. The event will take place on the Main Campus, upstairs in the student commons.

Join our Washington DC alumni in a conversation with Dr. Jesse Covington, professor of Political Science and Director of the Augustinian Scholars honors program at Westmont. He has taught at Westmont since 2007. He teaches and writes in the fields of political theory and constitutional law, with particular interest in the interrelation of religion and government. He recently published Hopeful Realism: Evangelical Natural Law and Democratic Politics (2025, with Bryan McGraw and Micah Watson).

The Westmont Alumni Relations office has partnered with the Sustainability office to create a fun "Done In A Day"- Creation Care - Alumni Service Project. We will have Coffee and Donuts waiting for you. Bring the whole family! We will have a rock painting station set up for the kids. Come and learn about Creation Care, help harvest, remove invasive plants, plant, hear from the Santa Barbara BeeKeepers Organization on why bees are important, sample honey, and we will close with a nature poem from professor Paul Willis.
